Valley of the Hare Farmhouse is owned by the Tucker family.

“The South West of Ireland is a gem. After enjoying many holidays in the region we decided to search for a permanent base on the Ring of Kerry and in 2007 we discovered and bought this traditional old Kerry farmhouse just outside Sneem.”

The Renovation Project

“This beautiful farmhouse had been left empty for many years and when we bought it, the roof was not watertight, the rafters were rotten and the barns and grounds were home to sheep, hares and wildlife.

Over the next 2 years we worked tirelessly to restore this traditional old farmhouse and its original buildings and grounds, so full of history and character into a beautiful contemporary home with the help of local tradesman.  Every element of the property internally and externally has undergone significant building and restoration work, to bring it up to the present high standard.”
